On the carpet it didn't really move much so we had an easier time getting a winner once we were able to get the balls into the tray. It was more difficult on the kitchen floor and much more exciting since we couldn't really control the board and the patterns kept shifting. We tried playing the game both on the carpet and then on the kitchen floor. It says it is for ages 7 and up but younger ones can very easily understand just as well because it is pattern based.

It is very easy for any age to understand how this game is played. We only played with 3 people so we just took turn using the balls once we ran out of our own. Each player will get to choose their own color of balls.

You just need to turn the tray over and push in the dome and the game is set up and ready to play. The game comes with 1 orange game tray, 1 dome for the tray to balance on, 16 blue and black colored balls ( 8 of each ), 9 game pattern challenge cards, 4 ball holders, and 1 set of game instructions.
